Kathryn Rojas

Community & Pastoral Care Worker

Kathryn Rojas works as our Community & Pastoral Care Worker. Originally from Falkirk, Kathryn trained as a nurse and a midwife before going to Peru to work alongside her husband Elmer, who is from Cajamarca in the northern Andes of Peru. They worked with Scripture Union and Latin Link for 17 years in children and young people’s work as well as working with couples and families.

They returned to the UK in 2007 when the eldest of their two boys started his studies at Aberdeen University. Kathryn worked as a family worker with parents of teens and Elmer worked with young people and families. They joined the staff at DCF in 2013.
